I am Avery Parker, callsign KI4TQN — Amateur Extra, GMRS licensee, and emergency communications consultant. The channel started as practical how-to content. You do not need a ham license to get value from the GMRS downloads and Meshtastic content. You do need one before you key up on amateur repeaters — and the site will keep pointing you to the right licensing resources.
