Examples
- Ringtone / SMS: callsign, SMS, or MSG presets at ~20–24 WPM — short MP3 for text-message or app notifications (try 700 Hz for SMS).
- Practice: random 5-letter groups or a QSO phrase; raise character WPM and lower effective WPM for Farnsworth.
- Repeater ID: station callsign only — ID-style timing (~20 WPM), WAV for controllers that prefer uncompressed audio.

How Morse timing works
Element length follows character WPM (dit = 1.2 / WPM seconds). Dah = 3 dits; gaps inside a character = 1 dit. Farnsworth keeps those element speeds but stretches spaces between letters and words so overall (effective) WPM is slower — better for learning copy without slowing the characters themselves.
