East TN Repeater Quick Sheet

This is the field subset of the East Tennessee repeater book — searchable offline, filterable by band or call. The canonical full list, CHIRP CSV, and nets live on local.php; this tool is what you open in the rain.

How this sheet relates to local.php

KI4TQN maintains one verified dataset for the Tri-Cities, Erwin / Unicoi, and nearby SW Virginia. local.php is the full guide (repeaters, GMRS, DMR, nets, clubs, NOAA). The go-bag sheet is a one-page print. This tool is the same data in a filter box for the PWA.

Headline machines: W4TRC 146.970 Bays Mountain, W4ABR 146.790, NETNRC/NE4RC 146.805 PL 203.5, WR4CC 146.700 PL 77.0 Holston Mountain, W4WAU 224.160, and NETNRC GMRS 462.600 PL 88.5. DMR: KE4CCB 442.700 Elizabethton and KM4KT 444.075 Norton, VA. Tones and nets move — listen first.

Wrong or silent? Submit an update. Ops context (SKYWARN District 7, MTEARS, workflow) is on the East TN emcomm hub, not duplicated here.

Common questions

Where are East TN repeater lists?

KI4TQN hosts a Tri-Cities guide at local.php and a slim go-bag sheet at local-go-bag.php with CHIRP CSV download.

Why does a repeater in the list not answer?

Trustees take machines down, change PL, or lose linking. Treat this as a programming aid. Confirm with RepeaterBook, the club site, or a local net before you depend on it.

Is NETNRC the same as ARES?

No. NETNRC (netrc423.org) is the linked repeater community. District 7 SKYWARN trains on those machines. ARES/RACES activation is a separate served-agency path — see east-tn-ares.php.
