Net control quick reference — check-ins, traffic handling, and prowords.
Standard check-in
- Listen — know the net name, net control (NCS) call, and purpose.
- When called for comments, give: callsign, name, location, traffic (yes/no), remarks.
- Example:
KI4TQN, Avery, Johnson City, no traffic, monitoring. - Stay on frequency unless directed; use minimum necessary words.
Traffic priority
